first Rita got 25% of 3000 (750 )as profit
and now she has Rs 3750
after that Sita sold her back at 10% loss
that is Rita paid Rs3375 to Sita took back the dress
now rita has the dress and Rs3750 -Rs3375=Rs375
so Rita has net profit of Rs375

Answer / samar khan
initially Rita got 25% of 3000 means 3000*25/100 = 750 as profit
and now she has sold to Sita for Rs 3750
after that Sita sold her back at 10% loss
means 3750*10/100 = 375
that is Rita paid Rs 3375 to Sita took back the dress
now Rita has the dress and Rs 3750 - Rs 3375 = Rs 375
so Rita has net profit of Rs 375 it means 12.5% gained by Rita

formula to calculate such questions:
P(+or-)Q (+or-)P*Q/100
so the Answer is:
=25-10-(25*10/100)
=12.5%
Since result is positive so profit = 3000*12.5%
=375

For 3000, 25% profit means 750.
selling price by rita 3750.
For 3750, 10% loss means 375.
selling price by sita 3375.
Therefore the profit percent is 12.5%

Answer / soma
Rita purchased at 3000/-
Sold it to sita for 25% profit, that is 3750/-
sita sold it again to rita at 10% loss, that is 3375/-
so sita gained a total profit of 375/- profit
profit % = $profit
profit% = ------------------------ × 100%
$cost price
so the profit % 375/3000*100 = 12.5%

Answer / ambar khatri
here rita gains profit two times..firstly when she sell the
dress at 25% profit..at this time she earned a profit
of..3000*(25)/100=750 Rs.
second time she gets the 90% of the money in which she sold
the dress..
she sold the dress in 300+750=3750
90% of this is =3375
hence total profit she gained is 3375+750
