I have applied for Group 1 exam whose application form submission process is now on the way(till 1st sep 2009). I am a fresher when it comes to preparation for Group 1. Can anyone approximately tell me how much time it would generally take to prepare for prelims and then for mains? I am ready to dedicate atleast 10 hrs per day for preparation.

Hi friends, Good news for those candidates belonging to reserved category who fared reasonbly well but could not qualify for group -1 prelims. Petition is filed in the High Court on 07.07.08 challenging the prelims results for not following reservstion system as followed by UPSC and other State PSCs. Keep a track of the developments and share the news in these columns for the benifit of other similar aspirants.

Hello Sir, I have checked the Group-I key for the exam scheduled this year and i'm hoping to get around 67 marks (+ or - 2 or 3 marks). Plz let me know if you think i would be qualifying for mains?
