>nvalias backup-root <physical path>
>prtenv boot-device
>setenv boot-device disk backup-root net
>nvstore {it is saving config.}

#eeprom boot-device?=<disk address)when the server is up
and running ..so that it comes up with the new boot device
the next time you reboot..
