Their are 12 Character/Digits in MAC address. We know that their are 8 bit in every Character or a digit. so 12*8=96 bit are their in 1 MAC address.

a mac address is a 48 bit addressing in a schema there are 8 bit in a bytes therefor it is a 6 bytes along
