Can you please explain the difference between hub and a switch?
Answer / Ramendra Kumar Katiyar
A Hub is a simple networking device that receives data from any of its ports and broadcasts it to all connected devices. This results in reduced efficiency as all devices receive unnecessary traffic. A Switch, on the other hand, is more intelligent as it can filter, analyze, and forward data only to the intended recipient based on MAC addresses. Switches are thus more efficient and faster than hubs.
