Explain ttl (time to live)?
Answer / Gaurav Bhatnagar
In the context of Android, TTL (Time To Live) is a parameter used in DNS cache. It specifies the duration for which a resolved DNS record can be cached. The DNS system caches IP addresses associated with domain names so that repeated queries for the same name do not need to be sent to the remote DNS server, reducing latency. The TTL value is set by the DNS server and determines how long the cached record remains valid before it needs to be refreshed.
