To format the C drive without a CD drive, you can use a USB flash drive or an external hard drive. Here's how:
1. Create a bootable USB drive or external hard drive with a Windows installation ISO.
2. Insert the USB drive or external hard drive into your computer.
3. Restart your computer and boot from the USB drive or external hard drive.
4. When you see the Windows setup screen, select 'Repair your computer'.
5. Choose Command Prompt or System Recovery Options.
6. Type 'diskpart' in the command prompt and press Enter.
7. Type 'list disk' to list all disks. Identify the disk number for the C drive (usually 0).
8. Type 'select disk X', where X is the disk number for the C drive.
9. Type 'clean' to format the C drive.n10. Exit DiskPart and restart your computer.
