the foetus from the parent through placenta the blood that
is present in the umbilical cord is termed as "cord blood"
around 180 ml of the blood reaches the neonatal circulation
if the cord is not premateurly clamped.
thus , many private enterprises and govt' authorities made
an initiative in storing of cord blood for future use such
as treatment of dreadful diseases .
infact,it is a controversial act.
