What is frequency re-use in gsm technology?
Answer / Yogesh Shukla
Frequency Re-Use is a technique used in GSM networks to increase capacity by reusing the same radio frequencies across different cells while maintaining acceptable interference levels. This is achieved by spatially separating cells using cell planning and sectorization. The frequency pattern of reuse, such as Frequency Re-Use Distance (FRD) or Frequency Re-UseFactor (FRF), defines how far apart cells should be to minimize co-channel interference.
