What do you mean by extended cell? Does it have any impact on the system? If yes, what?
Answer / Anurag Kumar Srivastava
An Extended Cell provides coverage to areas beyond the typical coverage of a microcell or picocell. It can be achieved by using higher power levels and larger antennas, which results in larger coverage areas but also increased interference. Extended cells have an impact on the system by affecting the balance between capacity and quality of service (QoS), as they may introduce more interference to other cells.
