Google EMD (Exact Match Domain) filter targets domains that have exact matches of the keywords being searched for in the domain name. Google Hummingbird emphasizes semantic search and understanding the context of a user's query to deliver more relevant results. Payday Loan algorithm was an update targeting spammy websites related to payday loans.
