If a law limits or restricts our freedom to do something, is that an unjust law with regards to autonomy?
Answer / Avnish Kumar Awasthi
Whether a law limiting or restricting one's freedom is 'unjust' can be subjective and depends on the specific circumstances. From a philosophical standpoint, some argue that laws should respect individual autonomy, but also balance it against other societal values such as public safety and welfare.
