Explain the interfaces from one NE to another (e.g. Abis, Gb, etc.)?
Answer / Kshitij Kumar Srivastava
NE (Network Element) interfaces are used for communication between different network elements in telecommunication networks. Some common interfaces include:nn- ABI (Air interface): Defines the communication between a BTS and BSC in cellular networks.n- Iub: Interface between BSC and RNC in UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System).n- Iu: Interface between RNC and MSC/SGSN (Serving GPRS Support Node) in UMTS.n- Gb: Interface between BSC and MSC in GSM networks.n- IuCS: Interface between SGSN and Gateway Mobile Switching Center (GMSC).n- S1: Interface between eNB and MME (Mobility Management Entity) in LTE networks.

Explain GSM/CDMA/LTE/IMS architecture?
How can we calculate signaling threshold? I mean to say that how much traffic it can sustain. If it overloaded then what will happen? How can we decide there are requirement of another signaling link in the same Trunk Group?
