Answer / thiru

Guys actually the cost should be given as Rs.5 per sq.mts
then the answer will be Rs.2200

The walls are 10mts long and 10mts high.So out of 4 walls 2
are of 10*10=100sq.mts area (length * height)
2*100=200sq.mts
Two walls are of 8*10 = 80(width*height)
2*80=160
Roof is 8*10=80sq.mts (length*width)

Total surface area : 200+160+80 = 440sq.mts
Total cost: 440*5= Rs.2200

Answer / koustav chakraborty

the ans wiil be 2200.cause....
The painted wall including roof is 5 therefore the the equation is (width*long)=(8*10)=80
as for 5 painted wall including roof is (80*5)=400
then the painted hight of the 4 wall is (4*10)=40
as for total painted sq.ft=(400+40)=440
and as for cost per sq.ft the cost will be 440*5=2200

Walls: 10m X 8m x 4 (4 walls in a room): 320 sq ft.

Roof: 10m x 8m = 80sq ft

Painting cost @5/sq ft:

(320x5) + (80x5)= 1600 + 400

=2000

Answer / vijay

hey guys, a room as 4 walls. so it should have length and breadth because its a two dimension. l*b = 10*8=80, 80*4 walls = 320, then one roof: same 10*8=80. finally 4 walls and 1 roof = 320+80=400 now it cost rs.5, so 400*5=2000. 2000 is answer.
