Sun explorer is a data collection tool which collects and
makes a snapshot of Systems Configuration. By this the
whole systems configuration is at one glance.

# cd /opt/bin/SUNWexplo
# ./explorer
will collect the entire configuration of the solaris system
. Its a superb tool in solaris , which will really help you
to find the errors,SVM , cluster, Vxvm , and much more of
the Solaris OS, all the basic commands will run and the
output will be collected. From the output collected , we can
analyse the Systems Configuration.
When ever you down the production server , Suggest you to
run explorer and save the explorer output in the local system.

sun explorer used for collect all commands output logs and
generate tar file in /opt/SUNWexplo/output path.

To get the explorer output go to /opt/bin/SunWexplo
Run ./explorer commmand.
Its a inbuilt option from the OS itself.It will create
all logs, related to cluster, hardware problem,error, SVM
Vcvm and so many things.
Its helpful to troubleshoot the problem .Through this
output ypu can trooubleshoot or ind the problem in the
server.
The output will be saved under./opt/SUNWexplo/output
once ./explorer completes.
