What makes virtual platforms a powerful tool for software
development?
Answer / jonathan hirst
Virtual platforms give the software developer early access to their intended target. In addition, virtual platforms such as those provided by ASTC, give complete access to register and memory data, while connecting standard tools used to debug on hardware targets. The ability to single step, stop clock, and back trace, all while having complete access to the entire chips registers is an extremely powerful tool for solving some of the toughest problems.
