In Oracle, optimizer values are settings that control the optimization process for SQL statements. They include statistics-gathering parameters (such as STATISTICS_LEVEL and DB_BLOCK_BUFFERS), cost-based optimization parameters (such as OPTIMIZER_MODE and OPTIMIZER_INDEX_COST_ADJ), and parallel execution parameters (such as PARALLEL_MAX_SERVERS and PARALLEL_MIN_SERVERS). These values can be tuned to improve the performance of SQL statements.
