How many four digit numbers can be formed using the digits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (but with repetition) that..

Answer / shatanu kuila

This is a contradictory question.
Bcoz
Any number(minimum three digit number) will be divided by 4, when its last two digit is divided by 4. Here number can be formed through this way **12,**32,**52,**24 but in this problem we can repeat the digit also one formation is **44.
Now we can form those unknown two position 2^5 way (number can be repeated. So for five formation total number will be
=(2^5)5=160. but there is no option.
