In IP at which place the error control is done when a data
is corrupted?
Answer Posted / trilokchand kilari
IP checksum calculation function will return error.
For every packet that IP receives, it calculates checksum
and checks against the checksum value present in the
header. If there is no match, the function returns checksum-
error and the packet will be dropped by the calling routine.
