Explain about No intervals, no extension in select options.

In the select options it show the ranging values.
If we define no interval, no extension it will act as a
parameter.
Please check this code.
TABLES: vbak.
SELECT-OPTIONS : s_vbeln FOR vbak-vbeln NO-EXTENSION NO
INTERVALS.
