Ep7 series is application based and c8 is web based tool.
In c7 we have impromptu,powerplay and transformer.
Impromptu is used for creating catalogs these catalogs we
are using in transformer for creating the cubes and
powerplay is used for analysis of cubes. In c8 we have
fm,query studio, Reportstudio, analysis studio and
eventstudio for reporting

How to generate the Catalog in Cognos? Basically all post describing generating the Catalog from cognos impromptu . Is there any way to generate the Catalog using Cognos Administration or Framework Manager?
