How to recover a system whose root password has lost?

1.first come to ok prompt by init 0 command.
2.enter into single user mode #init -s
3.mount /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0 /a
4.vi /a/etc/shadow
Remove the password
5.change to root directory #cd /
6.unmount the directory #umount /a
7.reboot
By following the above 7 steps we can recover a system when
root password has lost
