What is meant by scales? Can scales be used in standard
purchase order?

Answer Posted / rameshwari sharma

Scales means we define different conditions(price, value)for
different scaling.

Scales are Conditions by we can fix the price of a material. we define different conditions(price, value) using different scaling

Scales are generally maintained in Info records(For the
material and vendor combination) using ME11.

For example, we can fix the material price
based on the quantity like ,

for quantity 1 to 100 price is Rs1000,

for quantity 101 to 200 price is 900,

we can't use scales directly in po. We can pull it from
purchase info record to po.
