Hemophilus influenza needs special additional nutrients in media i.e Factor X(heme) and factor V (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide). So this factor is provided in chocolate agar which is obtained after heating blood agar.. Also H.influenza is grown along with S.aures which provide NAD so H.influenza grows near it resembling like a satelight...SATELITISM property or colony
