Firstly, this university has the major of my choice. This university also gave me a very quick response.The international adviser and program director were very helping throughout my documentation process. Tho i am finally secured this university has also provided me a remarkable scholarship which was bonus for me.More than that this university fee is reasonable and my sponsor can easily pay this. This is why i choose this university.

hi..i am jalark patel..i got admission from fdu university.i am a dentist..i got refusal in visa twice..they r considering me as an potential immigrant as my sister is there on H1B status..they rejected me under usa immigration law 214 b..now i m lilbit confused wat to do next???????is there any hope still alive for me to study there??? in interview that lady officer directly rejected me after hearing that my sister is der on H1B..i have a gud academic as well as financial background plus indian ties r gud but somehow they didnt give me visa..wat r dey wanting?? please suggest me as soon as possible..if it so den do v have to believe now dat if ur brother or sister is working there then u cant go there??? help me asap..waiting for kind reply..thank you..
hello everyone I am from morocco and i have i-20 visa interview and i need help with a question COURSE OF STUDY : GENERAL STUDIES
I have been admitted to the MBA program in a US university.I was not asked to appear for the GMAT as they told me that people having Masters or JD can apply without GMAT.(I have both) Now my question is- Will I be asked to show my GMAT score when I go for an F1 interview? And can this lead to d denial of my visa?
Dear sir/madam, iam desperately need your help by suggesting me how to afce the interview. i went to for fall 2001 and then i did my master's in mechanical and then also in computers and now i am doing my phd in csce dept. i married a green card holder in jan 2005 and according to our culture and tradition we have to get married in india so i came to india in december 2006 and went for visa renewal on dec 28th 2006 and i got 221 g case. i did couple of mistakes, i had an argument with my wife on dec19th 2006 and she alled 911 and they came and arrested me and i was released on the same day itself my wife only paid the bail. in the ds-156 form i did not fill that i was arrested since the ca cops told me it is an argument between a wife and a husband so not necessary to worry. i also did not fill that i was married because we are not married acording to our tradition and culture. i got my visa on feb 23rd and i decided to go to school for fall 2007 and i was asked at the port of entry whether i was arrested i said yes and told them then they asked me why didn't u fill u r married and also u r arrested, i told the reason. they told me to withdraw the application and apply and come again. now i am going to chennai for the visa interview, please help me how to face the interview and also how to tell them a convincing answer regarding why i did not fill i am married (according to our tradition we are married in jan 2007). thanks, bharat.
i Have Given IELTS 6.5 and NOT GRE or TOEFL and got I_20 from two universities and my VISa date is 3 june.will I get the visa???
Since you can earn much more money if you work in US after graduation,why not?
I have applied for a F1 VISA & I had appointments on 19th july and 2nd August but both times my VISA has been rejected due to unknown reasons I'm posting my conversation with VO both times 1st appointment 19 July Me: Good morning sir. VO: Hi. VO: Why do you want to go to IIT? Me: This institute provides one of the best courses in Mechanical Engineering. It has very good study atmosphere especially the faculty that is highly qualified. Most importantly It has very good student to faculty ratio ie. 10:1 that is highly favorable for student’s studies. VO: Which other universities have you applied to? Me: I have applied to Purdue, USC….( I was telling about other 2 universities also, but he interrupted) VO: Why not Purdue? Me: Coz I’ve got a rejection from there. VO: And what about USC? Me: I’ve got rejected there too. Also, I’ve applied to 2 other universities whose decisions are still awaited they are SUNY Buffallo and Texas A&M. VO: What are your qualifications? Me: I’ve done Civil Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia University. VO: Can I see your marksheets please? Me: Sure ( I gave him my neatly clipped marksheet bundle..) VO: Do you have any backlogs? Me: No VO: Where are the marks? I’m just seeing the grades.. Me: They just provide us with these grades and there is a CPI at the end. (I was thinking I got my VISA but he returned all my forms back along with some US embassy brochure and replied…) VO: Thank you..you don’t qualify for the US VISA this time. Me: The courses required for MS in mechanical Engineering at IIT are very much related to what have i done in my undergrads, there are subjects like thermodynamics, engineering mechanics, fluid mechanics, mechanics of materials that i've already studied, so definitely it will be a plus point and also its faculty is very good and student to faculty ratio is 10:1 that is highly favorable. VO: R u working somewhere? Me: Yes, I'm working in Vimtech infrastructure pvt ltd as a technical supervisor. VO: What is your percentage? Me: Sir we have a grading system in our university and different weightage is assigned to each grade and weighted mean is calculated that is called as CPI ie cumulative percentage index and i've a cpi 6.3/10. VO: That is a quite low. Me: No sir, there is a formula given at the back of marksheet which calculates my %age as 64.2 VO: Show me your marksheets. Me: Sure VO: Do u have any backlogs? GRE: 1330( Q770;V560) TOEFL 96 University: Illinois Institute Of Technology There's one more thing that i need to tell u that i have got around 16 backlogs in my undergrads, but i've cleared them all and they are not reflected in my marksheets but the year mentioned in my marksheets is of when i clear all papers of a particular semester. Can it be a problem? What should i do now ? should i reapply for a US VISA as my joining date as per my I20 is 23 August. Kindly suggest me something
I have passed my SLC examination scoring 80% and grade 11 scoring 57 % but not cleared my +2 due to my personal issues,I am the only son and have got sufficient financial aspects,can I apply for a student visa?

i was interview ,the consulate ask me two question,why i choose the university,and i convinced him with that,secondly he ask me what is my sponsor i told him my uncle,he ask what he does i said an accountant in a school and firm,he send with the code that state i did not show capability to complete study for my bachelor program with enough finance and i dont have enough tie,i plan to lie this time for my next appointment in addition to what i gave.what do u thinK?

Hello guys. I am going to have interview in US Embassy consular in our city. I have applied for MBA Programs in 6 schools and 3 of them accepted me. And now one of them is going to send me an I-20 next week. Currently, even if I am just a senior undergraduate student studying Computer Science, I am also a self employer who works with one of my friend in developing Software and Webpage. To tell you the truth, the reason I wanted to do my MBA is because I am eager to be a business man (just a self employer or latter a business owner). Even if I am just 22 years old, I have got the skills to communicate with people specially one to one in our mother language. So, I have the license from our government which shows I am a business owner. I have also a GPA of 3.4. since, the school didn’t ask me any kind of Tests , I didn’t take TOEFL or GMAT, but I scheduled GMAT for July 13 (which will be after my interview) My graduation date will be in August 5, i.e. I am going to the interview before I finish my class. To add another information, my father works for UN outside our home country, and he got paid a lot that will cover my overall expense. Hey gusy, even if I have all the true evidences I may be a little bit nervous at the interview. And I don’t want to lie any thing, because it will make me much nervous. So, what do you guys recommend me? As I told you I don’t want to lie (even if they asked me whether I have a relatives or not what I will say is yes because I have 2 uncles and 1 aunt there ). Do you guys recommend me to enter the Embassy after I took my GMAT test or when? Please guys tell me what real things to do to get the visa. Even if I am rejected I have a lot of plans here, except I am going to miss/broke up with my girlfriend who lives USA (in the state I applied). Thank you guys.

I have a boyfriend who is Mexican and is interested in coming to the US to study English ( he has a degree in international relations). He's interested in studying at a language school. If he chooses to study part time he can study under a visitors visa. Which would be easier to obtain given that he recently has been working in france for 9 months. Also would it hurt or harm him to say that i would sponsor him?
