There are some keys which are present in the fact table but
they do not have a corresponding Dimension table related to
them. These are called Degenerated Dimensions.
Eg. Transaction No., Invoice No.

Hello , I am unable to work with SQL transformation at least. Where do i need to give connection for sql transformaton ? At session level there is no property . I have created a SQL Transformation and chosen query mode. But do i need to pass connection information to it ? I don't know where do i need to write a query ? Hi Everybody, I have one fixed width file as source and 4 oracle tables (relational) as target. What are the Unit test cases i need to implement ? 1.Using TextPad software i tested postion of the field 2.As per specification i tested like whether it is correctly mapped or not?
