I need to travel to USA for the purpose of technical
discussion with our client Right90 as there is going to be
new features going to be added to the product that we are
woring on.

I have applied for B1 visa as my company has selected my to attend Business meeting on its behalf. However, my own brother is currently staying in US as nonimmigrant. He had gone there representing his company. Would there be any problem for me in getting B1 visa for myself?
How Long you gonna stay in US? I replied 3 weeks. VC replied its too long for meetings and rejested the visa. Please help me with the suitable answer for this long stay.

Recently (February 2011) i got rejected for B1 visa. Visa consoler gave the reason that you didn't convince the visa consoler. My company is making arrangement to send me for second interview in March 2011. Actually my question is, in checking counter they asked me to take only the receipt, passport, confirmation slip and appointment letter to the US consoler. But I have an invitation letter from my client which specifies my schedule plan on my visit. Can I attach that plan document while giving the passport and other documents to the consoler?
Interviewer asked me - You are a business analyst and requirement gathering is your job and your are going to USA for Business Meeting where you are going to gather requirements - do you know working is not allowed under B1 visa.
Hi, I am working for AllState India since from 1.8 years(Overall 4.8 years of experience) and I had applied for B1 visa during Jan-2014 and it got rejected coz of 214(b) section.I would like to brief about the questions that are asked during my interview. 1.Why I am travelling to USA. 2.For how many days you are travelling. *Ans*: 8 weeks (as mentioned in my invitation letter) and the purpose of travelling . 3. Interviewer felt the period is very long and cross questioned me why such a long period. *Ans* : Repeated the same reason as said above with elaboration. 4. Again cross questioned , the said schedule is only for 4 weeks and what is the schedule for remaining 4 weeks. *Ans*:Repeated the above answer. (May be here i went wrong) 5. Asked about my overall experience,Domain knowledge , took all relevant documents and come back with the rejection form. :-( Now its 9 months passed , so shall I reapply for B1 again? If so , what are the things I need to considered before re-applying? I am still working in the same company (AllState India) , but this time I am suppose to get the invitation letter just for 1 week and in April-2014 my salary also got increased(even my manager mentioned he will change the designation as well in the invitation letter). So is it safe to reapply? OR how can I improve the chances? Your help will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Seema

Hi, I have applied the form for US visa. In this form i applied for a business visit visa(B1/B2). Although when i went to schedule the interview date the clas type B1/B2 falls under 2 categories(purpose of travel)i.e Business and Tourist. I cannot manage to get an interview date with Business but i can through Tourist(B1/B2) class visa. Can i go ahead an schedule an appointment through this way
I had a USA B1 Visa for 3 months validity but the trip was cancelled by employer due to some business reasons and I had not travel to US and visa got expired. Now, I again need to go to US and hence applying for B1 visa. Does this affect on my visa issuence
My self was appeared twice for US visa interview and authority has rejected without any reason disclose, my self was going for business purpose to see the my vessel loading and meeting with the suppliers and i was carring the invitation letter from my supplier but authority rejected & only say "sorry for this time" . Hi, I have 1.5 years experience in international IT company. We are exhibiting in world largest event in USA related to our solution. I have all the documents and call letter from USA and my company provide me all the expanses. My application was rejected without any reason. I asked others for the reason they say you never visit any country before so are are rejected. It is true ?
