from the ground. The speed of the
flight is given. Find the time taken for a food packet dropped
at that instance to hit the ground.

Time taken by food packet to reach ground is 20 seconds

Reason:-
we use formula S=UT+1/2gT2
S= Distance covered
U= initail velocity of Food packet
g= acceleration due to gravity (constant g=9.8 m/sec2)
T= time taken to reach destination.

here S= 1960 m
U= 0 m/sec (since the food packet has nbo initial
vertical velocity component ,because the flight is
travelling in the horizontal direction only)
g- 908m/sec2

sustitute all in the euation we get time as 20 secs
