company B ownz 15000 shares. company C owns all the shares
not owned by the companies A or B. How many shares of stock
does Company A own if company C has 25% more shares than
Company A?
a) 450000 b) 50000 c) 750000 d) 60000
Answer Posted / champak chacha
a= 40%
b=15000 share
c have 25% more share than a
so let 40% as 100
means 40 divide by 100=0.4
then multiply 0.4 * 125(100+25)=50
that means c have 50% share in company
a=40% c=50% b= 10%(15000)
15000 divide by 10 then multiply by 40= 60,000
