Please tell me how to calculate the stiruup length for
rectangular and circular coloumns

suppose the size of the coloumn is 300*400. end and side
cover is 40.
therefore a=300-40=260
b=400-40=360
therefore L=a+b+9(dia of the bar)
=260+360+9(12)=728mm
