*it maintain the hostname to ip address maping.
2.backword lookup:-*it is used to providing resolues the
ipaddress to hostname.
*it maintain ipaddress to hostname maping.
active directory:-it is a serves which contain all the
information of users & computer, share foredolder on
network's it maintain centerlized herical datbase.
advantages:-
*it is a full security.
*rename systemname,domain name.
*site to site relation ship is easy.
