1. 2 containers labeled A and B are filled with red and blue
marbles in given quantities: -
Container RED
BLUE
A 6
4
B 60
40
Each container is shaken vigorously. After choosing 1 of the
container, without looking, draw out a marble. From which
container you have the max probability of choosing a blue
marble?

Answer Posted / raveender reddy

pick up one of the container from 2 container so the
probability is 1/2 and
means we are picking either container A or container B
from container A getting a blue ball the probability is 4/10
and
from container B getting a blue ball the probability is 40/100
so we are picking a blue ball either from container A OR
container B.
so the probability is=1/2{4/10+40/1000]

the answer is=2/5
