what is specific gravity of a battery
if specific gravity increase/decrease,what will happen to
the voltage/current of the battery
Answer Posted / vishal ingle
It is an indication about the charge storing capacity of a
battery. If sp. gr. decreases / increases, it affects the
voltage across terminals merely but the back up provided
will be affected adversely. In simple words, the battery
performs optimally near to the standard sp gr of 1200.
