it is better to study in the us because the usa has more
technology advancement than india.also most usa
universities have more extensive research progarms then
those in the india.thirdly, degrees obtained in the usa
always get more merit than most other universities in other
countries of the world including india...

I’m waiting for my final SEM result for BE in Information Technology. I’m intending to carry on with my studies in master in CSE or IT in United States. I’ve two years of backlog one in first year of Diploma and second in First year (SECOND YEAR OF ENGG. Since diploma) of engineering. After diploma I was in some other university, but since I got a year drop I changed my university since I was finding it difficult to get adjusted and hence changed my university. Now, I’m about to complete my graduation but have a very low aggregate percentage with couple of DEAD ATKT. Now, will this affect my chances of getting admission in top 20 or 30 university of US even after passing GRE and TOFEL with high numbers or Even if I get admission will I be rejected in VISA interview or getting a job experience of 2 years along with couple of certifications, help me in any form which will increase my chances of getting admissions and also clearing VISA interview. Hello guys. I am going to have interview in US Embassy consular in our city. I have applied for MBA Programs in 6 schools and 3 of them accepted me. And now one of them is going to send me an I-20 next week. Currently, even if I am just a senior undergraduate student studying Computer Science, I am also a self employer who works with one of my friend in developing Software and Webpage. To tell you the truth, the reason I wanted to do my MBA is because I am eager to be a business man (just a self employer or latter a business owner). Even if I am just 22 years old, I have got the skills to communicate with people specially one to one in our mother language. So, I have the license from our government which shows I am a business owner. I have also a GPA of 3.4. since, the school didn’t ask me any kind of Tests , I didn’t take TOEFL or GMAT, but I scheduled GMAT for July 13 (which will be after my interview) My graduation date will be in August 5, i.e. I am going to the interview before I finish my class. To add another information, my father works for UN outside our home country, and he got paid a lot that will cover my overall expense. Hey gusy, even if I have all the true evidences I may be a little bit nervous at the interview. And I don’t want to lie any thing, because it will make me much nervous. So, what do you guys recommend me? As I told you I don’t want to lie (even if they asked me whether I have a relatives or not what I will say is yes because I have 2 uncles and 1 aunt there ). Do you guys recommend me to enter the Embassy after I took my GMAT test or when? Please guys tell me what real things to do to get the visa. Even if I am rejected I have a lot of plans here, except I am going to miss/broke up with my girlfriend who lives USA (in the state I applied). Thank you guys.
To my surprise,my visa interview was too short and shocking. I had 1310 in gre and 109 in toefl. I completed BE in Elect and comm with 75% in 2007 and had been working in a multinational software company since then. i applied for masters in elect and comm in Lamar university with 60% fee waiver.. here goes the interview VO:( took my documents) how many universities??(raising his eyebrow) Me:2 VO: Looking at me with questioning eyes? Me: Lamar university, Texas and Cleveland State University, Ohio. VO: Why did u apply for Cleveland University? Me: This is a good university, i got good reviews about this university from online forums and communities and it was offering me right courses in computer networking along with other courses in Electrical Engineering..... VO: Interrupted... it is not a very high ranking university, how can u say its a good university? Me: Ranking of the university was not my sole criteria... VO: Interrupted... ohh!!! (sarcastically) what was your criteria? Me: I focused on the department and the courses that were being offered.. Moreover, I got good feedback.... VO: Go.. Me: ok. can u give me the reason? VO: next one come.. I don't understand what went wrong?
i lceared my high school in 2009-10 session then in december 2009 i aplies for f-1 visa of US n i was rejected,my score in toefl was 77 at dat tym.....den i applied again n was rejected. den i took my tym gave TOEFL again n updated my score to 85 n dis tym round i have also taken SAT test my result is pendind till 20th may. n dis tym i have applied to d same university n i got 50%scholarship as well....but i m really very nervous on giving my visa interview 3rd tym dont know wat will happen.....plz help me wid dis.....wat que. would dey ask me dis tym....n wat changes should i bring????plz help me
hello everyone I have a question which is making me tense as I have visa interview in next 2 days.I am a current student from virginia international university with F-1 visa.Due to some reasons I am going to attend visa again before it got expired.Unfortunately I couldn't drop my documents because i have transferred my university.Now,as I have interview in 2 days I am worried about this question.I will be thankful if anyone could suggest any conveniencing aswers for this question. Am I gonna face some problems with VO, as I have some backlogs during my engineering, but I completed it within 4 years with 65% aggregate. My GRE score is 1320 and TOEFL score is 95. Please also tell me the exact way to count the backlogs.
Hello This is rahul.I got accepted in saint clod state university for Masters in engineering management program and i got funding too.My total i20 amount would be 6000 dollars yearly as i got scholarships. I actually had applied for 5 other universities but for electrical engineering program.Will they create a big problem for my visa?? I have a brother already there in USA who is about to complete his studies.Will showing my br0ther would result in rejection of my visa?Seeking help from you guys and a solution to takle this problem
