What is TestDirector? wats the difference Testdirector and
winrunner, loadrunner? wats the advantage of testdirector..?

Answer Posted / varma

TD is a test management tool.
WR is a testing tool by using which we can test the
functionality of the application and we can use it for
functionality and regression testings.
LR is a performance testing tool. We can do load, stress
and volume tesings by which we can know the performance of
the application.

The adv of td are it becomes easy to manage testing process,
we can do tests on the application by launching wr or qtp
unattending.
we can schedule our tests.
bug tracking becomes easy.
so on ....
like this we have so many adv. of td.

Hi All, Im currently getting to grips with the Document Generator in Test Director and have a query. We use TD to link requirements to test cases and I am attempting to produce a report which lists the requirement and the test case it is linked to. I cant see a way to do this as the test case link info resides on the Coverage page and it appears the only field available to display for requirements reports within document generator as those on the 'details' tab. Any tips?
