Suspension Criteria comes under Test Plan.According to
this, QA Manager have the rights to Suspend the Build or
Testing if some serious defetcs come across or due to
unavailability of Hardware or Software. Below are some
criteria by which Manager can suspend the Build or Testing
cycle:-
-If some Major defects effects the application(like stop
Testing,Block some functionality etc.)
-Unavailability of Hardware/Software.
-Build is Unstable
In Test Plan document,if there is Suspenstion Criteria
mentioned then there should be Resumption Criteria also.
According to this,if Testing Cycle or build is Suspended
then on what basis Testing Team will Resume the Testing.
Followinf criteria are considered into this:-
-If Build is suspended due to some serios issue then verify
the Defetc and make sure it should be FIX by others.
-If Unavailability of Hardware/Software then verify its
availabilty .
-Verify the stability of build if any.
