as per my way, TCP/IP protocol works layer by layer rather
than OSI.
in appl as per services need means :- IMAP, POP3, SMTP and
HTTP. and also Encryption and compression algorthim occur.
in transport as port number for service going for access.
in n/w ARP,RARP
in physical ethernet, FDDI, token ring, FDDI
