what will be happen if we apply D.C supply to the
transformer

Answer Posted / ashish chourasia

According to Volt-Amps balance, B is directly proportional to integeration of the voltage wrt time. Therefore for a D.C. supply the it will be tremondously increasing and will burn the insulation due to absence of back emf and the transformer will damaged due to intense heating.....
