STLC means software testing life cycle,It identifies what test activities to carryout,when to accomplish those test activities,eventhough testing differs between organization,there is a testing life cycle.
There are 6 phases in STLC
1.Test planning
2.Test analysis
3.Test designing
4.Verification and construction
5.Test cycles
6.Final implementation
