hi this is noor in my work spot, i arranged THERMOCOUPLE in
the place of RTD. (in FEED WATER tank). can i use T/C or not?
Answer Posted / manraj
first of u have to confirm the temperature range in which
you are going to use the thermocouple in place of RTD
becouse the RTD response is better in low range and
thermocouple in high range (and also check type of i/p of
ur measuring instrument.) so if it is a high range then
deffinatly u can go for thermocouple. and u are going for
thermocouple then u have change loop configuration too as
o/p of thermocouple in mV.
