Is Police Checking Done for getting visa confirmation as
that done when we have applied for passport??
If police checking doesnot include personal interview by
police officals, then how is police clearance done for
getting visa..........

Yes ,Police Checking done when we have applied for
passport ,it includes personal interview by police
officials as well , any FIRs logged against your
name ,where u any time put in jail for any reason ?

hi sir.i have my visa interview on 7 jan 2011..i have only one i-20 waiting for other admits..and i have not taken gre...and i have taken ielts and got 5.5..and i have good academic background ssc-76% inter-89% btech-71%(without backlogs)....please tell i will get visa or not...and also what i should answer if visa consulor asks why you have not taken gre....please help me...reply soon....
Hi, My friends F-1 VISA is refused 3 times in year 2008 by US CONSULATE MUMBAI, INDIA (for SUNY Binghamton). Today was her 3rd time and after rejecting the VISA Officer said to her that she can not apply again for VISA. When can she reapply for VISA? Can she apply for same University? Is she allowed to apply only 3 times a year? If it is so then can she apply in January 2009 (college commences on Jan 15th 2009). Thanking you in advance, Anant

Hello all, I have been approved for Ph.D with full funding and I have a minor with me.So, should I file his application for F2 (that is dependent Visa) with my F1 application or fill it later once I got approved for F1 and then go with drop box option? Hello friends, I have got admission in SJSU, California to study MS in Industrial & Systems Engineering. I have got 91 in TOEFL and 790 in GRE, my GRE score is low. i am yet to finish my bpharmacy but my gre score is 278 my question that i have around 20 backlogs and the reason i couldnt clear them on time was due to health reasons wat are my chances of getting through the visa interview but the plus pt is i have been to the us as a tourist . is it necessary that i shud show my health certificate to prove that i was indeed ill the thing is that i have wasted 2 yrs writing my backlogs but in the mean time i have also worked in a pharma company for abt 1and half yrs so there any scope.

Hi, i have done a post graduate course i.e MCA and applying for MS in information system at universities in USA. As i have done masters some univ waive my GRE, even though i have given GRE for which my score was low 830. My TOEFL score is 83.I have first class with distinction in graduation and first class in MCA.I have received I-20 from 1 univ, will the GRE score bother me at the time of visa interview?And which Questions would i prepare for before going to the interview?
