what is sitescope where we can use this?wat is the purpose
of this

Answer Posted / dillesh

SiteScope is agentless monitoring solution designed to
ensure the availability and performance of distributed IT
infrastructures — e.g., servers, operating systems, network
devices, network services, applications, and application
components. and it is also focused on testing and tracking
the response time nad availability of software application.

SiteScope allows system administrators to remotely monitor
multiple servers from a central installation without the
need for agents on the remotely monitored machines.
SiteScope accomplishes remote monitoring by logging into
systems as a user from its central server which can run on
Windows, Unix and Linux platforms.

What is agent less: bellow find the small example about
agent less:
when you want to monitor the particular remote server at
the time if you are not using SiteScope, just guss you are
using LoadRunner, in LoadRunner there is one component that
is LoadRunner Agent, this agent you need to install each
and every remote machine that you want to monitor. but in
sitescope with out installing any agent you can monitor the
remote server. this is one of the feature in sitescope. and
also we can integrate this tool with othere Mercury tools
like Business Availability Center, Mercury Managed
Services, and Mercury LoadRunner.
