Hello Fellas, I am about to see my interview in few days. My university expense is about 14000$ for one year.Its a 2 year course so that leads to a total to 28000$. For that we have about 1200000Rs in bank account(arnd 26500 $) other then this an investment proof of 2Lacs (4000$)+ 9 Lacs of gold(20000 $)+ 8-9 Lacs(18-20 K$) in my father's pf acct. On income side parents have well over 8 lacs rs((18000$) per year income. On fixed asset site a house worth: 12000000 Rs(250000$)+ a office worth 40000$ first please guide me will it be sufficient? Secondly in what way I can show my gold?Means is it self attested? Plz guide me. Regards & Thanks,

i am planning to have 12 month OPT period after i graduate so when the consul asks me how long do u plan to stay in USA do i say i will stay xyzmonth(program duration)+12month(opt)? or in another word do i have to take a visa period that covers both the program and the opt or i can take a visa period for the program and then extend the visa for OPT? just to make it simpler: if my program length is 2 years do i have to tell the consul to give me a 3 years visa to cover the program and the opt or i can have only 2 years visa and then extend it in USA? And does saying that i want to have OPT to the consul can be a bad point as the consul may think that i will work in USA and never come back?or i should be fine?

i have taken 6 1/2 yrs to complete my Bachelors in mechanical engineering with 56.5 % and 31 backlogs. GRE score of 1150 and TOEFL 100. I’m waiting for my final SEM result for BE in Information Technology. I’m intending to carry on with my studies in master in CSE or IT in United States. I’ve two years of backlog one in first year of Diploma and second in First year (SECOND YEAR OF ENGG. Since diploma) of engineering. After diploma I was in some other university, but since I got a year drop I changed my university since I was finding it difficult to get adjusted and hence changed my university. Now, I’m about to complete my graduation but have a very low aggregate percentage with couple of DEAD ATKT. Now, will this affect my chances of getting admission in top 20 or 30 university of US even after passing GRE and TOFEL with high numbers or Even if I get admission will I be rejected in VISA interview or getting a job experience of 2 years along with couple of certifications, help me in any form which will increase my chances of getting admissions and also clearing VISA interview.
