In Rocky Area the soil resistivity comes out to be very
high. The overall grounging structure is based on following
criteria
1.Area Of the Switchyard
2.Surface Layer Resistivity
3.Soil Structure
4.Safety PArameters
5.Fault Current Distribution
There Are Certain Techniques in case of HIgh Soil
Resistivity as
1.Deep Groung well Earthing
2.If area is limited of the Switchyard, use Remote grid
along with main grid buried in low resistivity material
3. Soil Treatment
4. Use Grounging rods to take effect of deeoer low
resistivity layers
