what is mean by marshalling box in transformer?
Answer Posted / sripellirajukumar
ya
this is rajkumar from one of the reputed power transfomer
manufacturing company
as u said above is wrong
actually the marshalling box used with the transformer is
contains one WTI(winding temparature indicator) OTI(oil
temparature indicator)and few connectors (these r some
connecting devices like plugs to give the normal operating
voltage to the WTI and OTI from external supply).from this
box only we can abserve the condition of transformer..and we
will operate the relays and ckt breakers manually or
automatically depends on the fault condition.....
thanks,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
