in DataDriven framework we have to pass the test data for parameterization from external sheet like excel and we have to write script (record and playback is not followed by all companies)

Hi all can any one give me roles and responsibilities for QTP (not WINRUNNER)
you are recording on "WINDOW 1", say it has a link if you click on that, that leads you to "WINDOW 2". If you do any manipulations on "WINDOW 2" that are automatically updated in to "WINDOW 1". But "WINDOW 1" is currently invisible. But the updations in "WINDOW 1" must also be recorded as a script in QTP. The best Example is if you update your resume in JOB STREET portal it actually happens in other window, but the previous window is automatically updated. Now does QTP help you in this types of situations? Any body can answer this question. please..... Siva

Some time when i wanna learn the object i face issue like i am not able learn the object in proper manner... eg:for text bo on web page it should learn as webedit but some times it reads as winobject:internetexpoler-server, because of this i have to uninstall the qtp and re-install it again when i do this it reads the object perfectly.....plz suggest the soln
