why transformer neutrol is grounding

Answer Posted / bijay

its simple like water flows from ur overhead tank when the
tank is fully filled, same is the case with trafo
during fault condition the fault current passes thru trafo
neutral to ground and thus the electrical network's
components are safe (but not 100%).
in absence of which there will be a abrupt rise in the
voltage in 2 phases (as in case of 1ph-gr. fault)
