How we test an ERP products? and wat approach we will
fallows and wat r the tools avaliable for ERP testing?
Answer Posted / kapil sood
An ERP product consists of different modules.
For ex. if we talk of SAP it consists of MM(Material Mgt.),
FI(Finance),CO(Controlling),SD(Sales & Distribution)etc.
So to test any module you should expertise in any
particular module. You should have good knowledge of that
module, then it will be easy for you to do functional
testing of that module.
Mostly ERP products are tested manulally, but sometimes for
regression testing automated tools are used which can be
QTP,Loadrunner etc.
