I have installed capacitor bank at secondary transformer.
cos phi is increase. but on load (far from transormer), it
still poor. Can anybody explain it??

Because the capacitor abnk provides the ractive power
needed near a transformer but it cant provide the
kvar required by the line so the power factor is still
low
