Neutral wire means not at a zero potential i.e it may be at
zero or at other potential.One can use this for reference
potential.
Earth wire is always at zero potential.Earth wire is always
use, for making the voltage of the matalic body at zero
potential i.e potential difference between metalic body and
earth becomes zero.
